KARACHI: A Colombo-bound commercial flight made an emergency landing at the Karachi airport on Thursday morning after a Sri Lankan passenger suffered a heart attack mid-flight.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority, the 57-year-old woman passenger died by the time the FlyDubai flight (FZ-569) landed here.

The CAA sent it medical team to examine her. However, it pronounced her dead.

Later, the aircraft was allowed to fly for Colombo with the body after completion of required medical and legal formalities.
