LAKKI MARWAT: A teenage boy was shot dead in Nar Quli Khan area near Naurang town in Lakki Marwat district on Friday night.

Police said that Salman, 18, had gone outside home in the evening, and later his dead body was found in an open area in the village with a pistol alongside it.

The deceased’s father Muhammad Osman told police that he was at home when he heard gunshots and he immediately rushed to the spot and found his son lying in a pool of blood.

He alleged that his son was shot to death by unknown killer(s).

The police said that the dead body was handed over to the family after completing the medico-legal formalitiesat the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Naurang town.

The investigation wing of the police launched a manhunt for murderer(s) after registration of a case under the relevant sections of law at the Shaheed Asmatullah Khan Khattak police station, the police added.
