NAWABSHAH: An armed clash between two groups over irrigation water left one mwan dead and seven others critically wounded in Mohammed Moosa Lashari village near Kandiaro town of Naushahro Feroze district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Asif Las­­­­­­­hari, who succumbed to his wounds while being rushed to the Peoples Medical University Hospital (PMUH) in Nawabshah due to his precarious condition.

The other wounded men were shifted to the Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences and PMUH where their condition was stated to unst­able. One of the embattled groups belonged to the Lashari community and the other to the Lakha community. An FIR of the incident was yet to be registered.
