DERA MURAD JAMALI: A devastating collision involving five vehicles on the National Highway near Sibi has resulted in the death of a woman and injured eight others, three of whom are in critical condition.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred at the Sibi toll plaza when a fast-moving vehicle crashed into a stationary vehicle, triggering a chain reaction among the parked vehicles. Emergency response teams, including MERC 1122, Saiban, and Shahid Trust ambulances and volunteers, swiftly responded to the scene and initiated rescue operations.

Tragically, a Hindu woman, Bela Kumari, succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The injured, including Aman Kumar, Ekta Kumari, Mala Kumari, Zahid Ali, Sufyan, Tozef, Majid Ali, and Shah Nawaz, were transported to the Civil Hospital Sibi and CMH for medical treatment.

The injured hail from two districts of Sindh, Sukkur and Dadu.

Sibi Deputy Commissioner Jehanzaib Sheikh and ADC Ali Asghar Magsi visited the civil hospital and reviewed the medical facilities being provided to the injured.
