CHINIOT: A man was arrested for beating a donkey which grazed his fields.

The Langrana police arrested Muhammad Saqib of Chak 210-JB after registering a case against him under section 429 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

According to the FIR filed by Mansabdar, a pot maker of Chak 210-JB Tarrar, Bhowana, his donkey was grazing in the fields when Saqib and his brother Yousaf took the donkey to their haveli. They tortured the donkey with sticks and rods and later injured it with a sharp-edged weapon.

Mansabdar searched for his donkey and was informed by Mubashar Ali and Waqar that the suspects had taken it. He found the injured donkey standing at the spot.
