ISLAMABAD: PTI leader Asad Qaiser on Sunday alleged that independent legislators belonging to his party were facing threats and were being pressurised to change their loyalties.

People across the country will protest on Friday (July 26) for the release of all political prisoners, including PTI founding chairman Imran Khan, to reclaim the mandate, Mr Qaiser said, adding that the masses were aware that cases framed against Mr Khan and other party leaders and workers were against principles of justice.

Mr Qaiser said the nation was paying the price for the ineptitude of the unelected and non-representative government in the shape of sky-rocketing prices of various food items as well as power and gas.
