OKARA: A bailiff was manhandled by a man and his family in Dipalpur on Monday.

As per the first information report (FIR), family court judge Muhammad Sagheer had issued arrest warrants against Nadeem in a case.

The court bailiff Hammad Nawaz along with representatives of the decree holder reached the taxi stand in the Basirpur area of Dipalpur where Nadeem Ahmad was arrested. Nadeem put up resistance and strangled the bailiff. He also called his family and accomplices to be rescued from the bailiff.

Meanwhile, Nadeem’s sons, Waseem, Majid and Noman along with other six unidentified co-suspects, attacked the bailiff, tore his uniform and helped Nadeem escape.

The bailiff called the police who reached the spot. On the report of the bailiff, Basirpur police registered a case against Nadeem, his three sons and six other co-suspects.
