DADU: A teenage boy died after he fell from a moving passenger train near Kotri railway station on Wednesday.

The unidentified victim, about 16 years of age, had got on the Zakaria Express at Hyderabad and was going to Karachi. He was standing at the bogey’s door when he slipped from the moving train near Kotri railway station and died instantly, said witnesses. Personnel of railway police collected the body and handed it over to Edhi volunteers.

Man falls from roof of bus

A villager travelling on the roof of an overcrowded passenger coach fell to his death near Super Madina hotel on Hyderabad-Mirpurkhas road on Wednesday.

Witnesses said that Zaheer Banglani, who had got on the bus in Hyderabad for 10-Mile Mori, and found some space on the bus roof could not save himself when the vehicle suddenly came to a stop.

He fell down from the roof and sustained serious head injuries, which led to his instant death. His body was brought to Mirpurkhas Civil Hospital and was handed over to heirs after completion of medico-legal formalities.
