ABBOTTABAD: The Board of Governors of Ayub Medical Teaching Institution has replaced four senior managers, including the dean Ayub Medical College and Hospital and director Ayub Teaching Hospital with immediate effect.

According to separate notifications issued by Dr Abid Jameel, newly-appointed chairman BoG AMTI, Dr Daud Iqbal, registrar cardiology, has been appointed as the new acting hospital director replacing Dr Athar Lodhi, who has been relieved of his duties as acting hospital director of Ayub Teaching Hospital.

Similarly, Prof Mohammad Asif Kareem has been relieved of his duties as acting dean/CEO of Ayub Medical College, and Prof Saqib Malik has been appointed as the new acting dean/CEO for a period of three months.

Additionally, Zeeshan Gul has been appointed as the new acting finance director for a period of three months replacing Ehsan Khan, who has been relieved of his duties.

Ms Ruksana Waseem has been appointed as the new acting nursing director for a period of three months. She has replaced Ms Aksa Jalil, who has been relieved of her duties.
