LAHORE: Doctors at the Lahore General Hospital removed a key from the stomach of an infant boy through endoscopy.

The five-month-old baby was brought from Sargodha with serious breathing issues, involving risks to his life.

Leading a team of doctors, associate professor of pediatrics and gastroenterology Dr Hassan Salman showed professional skills during the procedure as it was too risky to deal with the baby at his early age.

Postgraduate Medical Institute and LGH principal Prof Dr Al-Fareed Zafar appreciated the team of doctors for providing timely medical assistance to the child.
