CRYPTO CURRENCY TRADING: Almost every single youth having some knowledge of computer seems to be involved these days in crypto currency trading, also called virtual currency trading, using exchanges mostly located outside Pakistan. As such, there are hundreds of coins available for trading at these exchanges. Trading crypto currency on a daily basis is a kind of addiction, gambling and a menace for our youth. Margin trading is being offered by every single exchange which results in big losses in the end, meaning that investors mostly return empty-handed in the end. It is a trap to attract innocent people. The authorities concerned must take steps to ban access to these exchanges.

MODERN EDUCATION: Pakistan happens to be among the countries that fail to recognise the importance of education. There are numerous factors that have crippled the education system in the country. The loopholes in the system include variations in syllabus, lack of teacher training, ineffective policies and negligence at every level. Owing to such challenges in the system, the country has the second-highest out-of-school ratio in the world, which is alarming. The government, along with other relevant authorities, must draft policies that help impart modern education in schools and colleges.

UNDUE PRESSURE: Some parents put a lot of pressure on their children. They disregard the interest of their children, choose a field of study for them, and want their children to excel in it. These children are unable to focus and succeed, and ultimately become emotionally and men- tally weak. This guilt of not fulfilling their parents’ dreams leads them to depression. Some children indulge in self-harm under this pressure. Why is it so difficult for the parents to listen to their children about what they want in their life, and allow them to chase their own dreams instead of theirs? Parents need to realise the grave consequences of putting undue pressure.
