PTI stages rally

DERA GHAZI KHAN: A peaceful rally calling for the release of PTI founder Imran Khan was held here on Friday.

The rally, led by parliamentary leader Zartaj Gul, attracted a substantial turnout of workers and youth. Participants voiced their demand for Mr Khan’s release.

Ms Gul criticised the current government, labelling it as fascist and corrupt. She claimed the government had been rejected by the people and accused it of exacerbating inflation while embezzling wealth.

She also pointed out that several PTI members, including Mr Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, had been imprisoned on false charges, which she argued had cast a shadow over Pakistan’s elections.
