LARKANA: A man shot dead his teenage cousin in her sleep in Murad Wahan locality in the jurisdiction of Dari police station here on Friday.

Sources said that Sheraz Wagan killed his young unmarried cousin Koonj Wagan, 19, over a matrimonial dispute between their families.

Babar Wagan, the victim’s brother, told journalists at the Trauma Centre where police had shifted the body that the killer sneaked into the house and shot dead her sister while she was sleeping.

“We are investigating all aspects of the girl’s murder to unearth exact motive behind the crime,” said police officials.
