PARIS: Pakistan shooters Gulfam Joseph and Kishmala Talat missed their mark in the mixed team 10m air pistol qualification at the Paris Olympics with the duo ending in 14th place in Chateauroux on Monday.

The duo scored 189, 195 and 187 across three rounds for a total of 571 with Kishmala aggregating 287 and Gulfam 284 in an event where only the top four teams were to advance to the medal matches.

Turkiye’s Ilayda Tarhan and Yusuf Dikec finished top in the preliminaries with a score of 582, setting up a gold medal match with Serbia’s Zorana Arunovic and Damir Mikec (581).

India’s Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh (280) ended third to set up a bronze medal match against South Korea (579).
