KARACHI: Turkish Navy Ship TCG Kinaliada (F-514) arrived in Karachi for a goodwill visit on Tuesday. The ship was received at sea by a Pakistan Navy Ship and later at Karachi port by senior naval officials, along with diplomatic staff from the Turkish Consulate.

During their stay at the port, the commanding officer of the Turkish ship will meet with PN field commanders and other dignitaries to discuss matters of mutual interest.

Aiming to strengthen mutual cooperation and integration between the two navies, joint interactions, including planning coordinated sea patrols and discussions on other professional topics, will also be conducted.

To pay homage to Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the Turkish navy delegation will lay a wreath at the Quaid’s mausoleum.

The visit of the Turkish navy ship to Pakistan is a manifestation of the historic bilateral ties between both countries and the strong collaboration between the Pakistan Navy and the Turkish Navy.
