LAHORE: With the announcement of holding a public meeting in Swabi on Aug 5 to observe the anniversary of Imran Khan’s incarceration, the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Punjab, general secretary Hammad Azhar has activated all tiers of the party to enthusiastically participate.
Mr Azhar, in a statement on X, asked party organisers, ticket holders and MPAs to prepare and ensure their participation in the Swabi jalsa. He said the PTI’s regional presidents had been instructed for party men’s mobilisation and they had begun meetings from Thursday. “Khan ki pukaar – Awam ki lalkar,” he also tweeted.
