SAHIWAL: A woman cut her husband’s genitalia in Ali Town, Chichawatni, on Friday.

The initial police investigation said that Asima Bibi suspected her husband, Ashfaq Ahmed, of having extramarital affairs with several women.

The Sadar police arrested Asima and registered a case against her on a complaint from her brother-in-law. Ashfaq was admitted to Sahiwal Teaching Hospital in critical condition.

CASE: The Pakpattan Sadar police and Dera Rahim police in Sahiwal booked two people for supporting incitement of Syed Zaheerul Hasan.

Abdur Rehman of Abadi Aslamabad and Muhammad Ijaz Rizvi of 143/9-L were charged under various sections of the Pakistan Penal Code and the Anti-Terrorist Act 1997.

Police also arrested Muhammad Hussain, who made a video clip of Abdur Rehman. Both men had announced a reward of Rs6 million for anyone who could behead the chief justice, with the funds coming from the sale of their property.

RAPE: A mentally challenged 23-year-old woman was raped by a man in Malkian Hans, Pakpattan.

The suspect was arrested and he has confessed to the crime. The alleged survivor, who was visiting her parents’ graves, was abducted by the suspect and another unknown man before being assaulted.

Police have conducted a medical examination of the victim.

KIDNAPPED: A 16-year-old boy, Muhammad Sufyan, was kidnapped by three armed men in Village 107/9-L this morning.

An eyewitness reported that Sufyan was abducted while returning home from tuition.

The Ghala Mandi police registered a kidnapping case but have yet to make any arrests or locate the missing teenager.

The family has stated that they have no known enmity with anyone.
