RAWALPINDI: The first direct flight of PIA departed from Quetta for Jeddah on Wednesday with 141 Umrah pilgrims on board.
A PIA spokesman said the national flag carrier has started two weekly direct flights from Quetta to Jeddah. With the launching of these flights, special facilities will be available, especially for Umrah pilgrims, he said.
