MARDAN/KOHAT: Sameer Zafar, a student of a private academy, has topped the secondary school certificate examination results declared by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Mardan, by securing 1,171 marks out of total 1,200 marks.
Ms Zafar is a student of Sudhum Children Academy, Rustam, Mardan.
As per the results, Sameer Zafar, Mohammad Yousaf of Quaid-i- Azam Public School, Swabi, with 1,170 marks, and Mohammad Ihtisham of Sudhum Children Academy, Rustam, with 1,169 marks were declared first, second and third position holders, respectively. They belonged to science group.
In humanities group, Faiza of government girls high school, Seri Behlol, Mardan, got first position by obtaining 1,103 marks, Maliha Bibi of government high school, Hund Swabi, was declared second with 1,086 marks, and Kalsoom Naz of government girls higher secondary school, Pabbi No 2, Nowshera, stood third with 1,078 marks.
Meanwhile, students of Cadet College, Kohat, and Iqra Public School, all belonging to science group, secured the top three positions in the SSC examination results declared by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Kohat.
Cadet Mohammad Soban topped with 1,127 marks, Mohammad Hannan Ali became second with 1,126 marks, and Hafsa Hassan bagged the third position with 1,125 marks.
In the arts group, Alia Bibi of government girls higher secondary school, (GGHSS), Behzadi Chakar Kot, grabbed the first position with 971 marks, Sabreen Sultan of GGHSS Musakhel Kachai, followed with 964 marks and Ms Bisma Ahmed of GGHSS Kiri Sheikhan stood third with 960 marks.
