KARACHI: Renowned classical singer Ustad Hamid Ali Khan mesmerised a large number of people with his melodious voice at the National Academy of Performing Arts (Napa) on Saturday.

The Napa organised An Evening with Ustaf Hamid Ali Khan in collaboration with the All-Pakistan Music Conference.

He was accompanied by Ustad Bashir Khan on tabla, Akhtar Hussain on harmonium, and Gul Mohammad on sarangi.

According to a press release issued here, the renowned singer started the evening with a presentation of Raag Darbaari. As the evening progressed, he moved on to singing thumris and ghazals as well.
