KARACHI: A few areas of the metropolis in districts West and Central received moderate showers on Sunday.

The Met Office recorded 70.4 millimetres, or 2.77 inches, rainfall in Surjani Town, followed by 26mm in Orangi Town and 15.2mm in North Karachi.

Federal B Area, Sohrab Goth, Scheme 33 and some blocks of Gulistan-i-Jauhar and Gulshan-i-Iqbal received drizzle.

It said that the low-pressure circulation in Sindh had mostly affected Karachi’s northern and western parts.

The maximum temperature recorded in the city 32.1 degree Celsius temperature with relative humidity at 75 per cent.
