LEVERKUSEN: Borussia Dortmund cruised through their first round German Cup tie, beating fourth division Lubeck 4-1 on Saturday.
Waldemar Anton opened the scoring on his Dortmund debut, with captain Emre Can adding a penalty and Julian Brandt scoring late in the first half.
Lubeck pulled a goal back through Obinna Iloka before teenager Julien Duranville added a fourth, his first strike in Dortmund colours.
Meanwhile, RB Leipzig came back after conceding in the second minute to win 4-1 at third division Essen. Leipzig won thanks to goals from Benjamin Sesko, Lois Openda, Antonio Nusa and Xavi Simons.
Elsewhere. Kaiserslautern beat Ingolstadt 2-1, while Borussia Moenchengladbach, Freiburg, Holstein Kiel, Union Berlin and Heidenheim also won their first round ties.
