KARACHI: Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab has welcomed the birth of two lion cubs and rare breed deer fawns at the Karachi Zoo.

The mayor was informed that the two cubs had been kept in a highly observed environment and separate from other animals, following the zoological animal kids care procedures to ensure their health is fully protected.

In addition to the African lion cubs, the zoo has also welcomed the birth of one fawn each of the rare white and black deer, and three spotted deer fawns.
