DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Dead bodies of a boy and a girl who drowned in the Indus River and a drain near Himmat Adda and Kaath-Garh areas respectively were recovered on Thursday.

The 12-year-old Saqib son of Saleem was drowned in the Indus River on Monday. After receiving information about the incident, Rescue 1122 teams had started the search operation. The rescuers retrieved the body on Wednesday and handed it over to the heirs.

The body of 14-year-old girl Maria Bibi daughter of Mureed Kazim, who drowned in a drain in the area of Paharpur tehsil the other day, was also recovered by Rescue 1122 divers.
