LAHORE: The Punjab government on Thursday made a massive reshuffle in the civil bureaucracy, including in the south Punjab secretariat, through four separate notifications.

Punjab irrigation department secretary Dr Wasif Khurshid has been assigned the additional charge of the post of secretary irrigation department, south Punjab, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

South Punjab irrigation department secretary Kunwar Ejaz Khaliq Razzaqi has been transferred and posted as special secretary irrigation department, south Punjab, against an existing vacancy.

Punjab forestry, wildlife and fisheries department secretary Mudassir Waheed Malik has been assigned the additional charge of the post of secretary forestry, wildlife and fisheries department, south Punjab.

Special secretary/acting secretary school education department Khalid Nazir has been assigned the additional charge of the post of secretary school education department, south Punjab.

Planning and Development Board, south Punjab, secretary Aftab Ahmad Pirzada has been transferred and posted as special secretary communication and works against an existing vacancy.

Planning and Development Board, Punjab, secretary Dr Asif Tufail has been assigned the additional charge of the post of secretary P&D, south Punjab.

South Punjab forestry, wildlife and fisheries department secretary Sarfraz Hussain Khan has been transferred and directed to report to the S&GAD for further orders.

Secretary school education department, south Punjab, Ubaidullah has been transferred and posted as special secretary SED, south Punjab, against an existing vacancy.

OSD Azfar Zia has been promoted to BS-20 on a regular basis and posted as Director-General Punjab Auqaf Organisation, against a vacant post, to actualise his promotion. After actualisation of promotion, Mr Zia will be transferred and posted as special secretary livestock and dairy development department, south Punjab, against an existing vacancy.

In another notification, the Punjab government transferred Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) member Saulat Saqib and posted him as Member, Chief Minister’s Inspection Team, against a vacant post. OSD Tariq Mahmood has been posted as member, PRA.

Additional secretary specialised healthcare & medical education department Agha Nabeel Akhtar has been transferred and posted as special secretary (Marketing & Development), Agriculture Department.

Director General, Punjab Agriculture Marketing Regulatory Authority (PAMRA) Muhammad Amin Awaisi has been transferred and directed to report to the S&GAD, enabling him to attend Senior Management Course.

Additional secretary, finance department, south Punjab, Muhammad Tanveer Jhandir has been transferred, with immediate effect and his services are placed at the disposal of PRA, on deputation basis, for further adjustment.

Deputy Secretary, Public Prosecution Department, Omer Iftikhar Sherazi was transferred and his services were placed at the disposal of PRA for further adjustment as deputy commissioner.

Additional Secretary (Culture), Information & Culture Department, Tariq Ali Basra was transferred and posted as Director General PAMRA.

Additional Secretary, Higher Education Department, Muhammad Usman Tahir has been transferred and posted as additional secretary (culture), information & culture department.

Additional Secretary, Specialised Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Zahida Azhar was transferred and posted as additional secretary, Higher Education Department.

OSD Sajjad Ahmad Khan has been posted as additional secretary, Specialised Healthcare & Medical Education Department.

Awaiting posting in the S&GAD Dr Muhammad Waheed Asghar Bhatti has been posted as additional secretary, Specialised Healthcare & Medical Education Department, against a vacant post.

Additional Commissioner (Revenue), Gujranwala, Hafiz Ahmad Tariq was transferred and posted as secretary (Revenue), Board of Revenue, Punjab, against a vacant post. He is also relieved of the additional charge of the post of Additional Commissioner (Revenue), Gujrat.

OSD Aftab Ahmad has been posted as Additional Commissioner (Revenue), Gujranwala.

Director (Revenue), Punjab Overseas Pakistanis Commission Munawar Hussain has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner (Consolidation), Bahawalpur, against a vacant post.

OSD Adnan Rashid has been posted as deputy secretary, information & culture department, against a vacant post.

Section Officer, SED, Ambreen Chaudhry was transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, School Education Department, against a vacant post.

Awaiting posting in the S&GAD Sajid Munir has been posted as deputy secretary, energy department, against a vacant post.

In yet another notification, the Punjab government transferred Additional Secretary, Home Department, Zahid Pervez and posted him as Additional Secretary (Admn.), S&GAD, against a vacant post.

OSD retired Capt Samiullah Farooq has been posted as Additional Secretary (Welfare), S&GAD, against a vacant post.

Deputy Secretary (General) to Chief Secretary, Punjab, Saqlain Saleem was transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary (Staff) to Chief Secretary, Punjab, against a vacant post. He is also relieved of the additional charge of the post of Deputy Secretary (Service Matters), o/o Chief Secretary, Punjab.

Awaiting posting in the S&GAD Imtiaz Mohsin has been posted as Deputy Secretary (General) to Chief Secretary, Punjab. He shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Deputy Secretary (Service Matters), o/o Chief Secretary, Punjab, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
