SARGODHA: A child and three women died, after being found lying unconscious in a car, while the driver was also not responsive, near Bhera Interchange on M-2 Motorway on Friday.

According to the motorway police, they found a car parked along a road near Bhera Interchange in which a child, three women and the driver were lying unconscious. The policemen took the car occupants out after breaking a window of the vehicle.

They were shifted to the Bhera Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, where the child and three women died, while driver Umar Qasim was still unconscious.

The police sources said the car occupants, identified as Romeela (60), Mehwish (30) Samar (26) and four-year-old Aun, belonged to McLeod Road area of Lahore and were going to Islamabad. They said the police are busy investigating the matter to know whether the victims ate poisonous food or there was some other cause of the tragedy.
