QUETTA: Ten government hospitals in Balochistan will be run under the public-private partnership to provide best treatment facilities to people.

Announcing this decision on Friday, the government officials said two trauma centres would also be included in the list of hospitals selected to be run under the new arrangement.

According to the official notification issued on Friday by the health department, the hospitals to be run under the public-private partnership are district headquarters hospitals of Zhob, Panjgur, Kohlu, Pishin, Khuzdar, Dera Bugti, Kalat and Lasbela.

Trauma centers of Zhob and Khuzdar will also be run under the new arrangement.

In this regard, the health department has already signed agreements with the officials of various hospitals which are running hospitals in different cities of the country.
