ISLAMABAD: The Steering Committee on Outsourcing of Islamabad Airport has extended the bid submission deadline to October 7.

The committee met on Thursday under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

The forum received a comprehensive briefing on the project’s progress from the International Finance Corporation.

In-depth discussions were held on the roles and responsibilities in the bidding process, said a press release issued by the office of the deputy prime minister.
