QUETTA: Two persons were gunned down by unknown armed men in Noshki and Turbat areas of Kech district on Saturday.

Police said attackers opened fire on a man, identified as Abdul Waheed, in the Mill Ada area of Noshki. He sustained multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot. Police shifted his body to the district hospital.

The banned Baloch Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the killing.

In another incident, unknown armed men killed a person in the Apsar area of Turbat on Saturday.

The man, identified as Abid Ali, received multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot. He worked at a tire shop.

The cause of his killing could not be ascertained.
