SARGODHA: Two workers who were extracting stones from a hill in the crushing area were crushed to death due to landsliding on the southern hill, while another survived miraculously.

As per sources, Asghar, Ashraf and Tariq were working on 126/12 Hill when they were the landslide occurred, burying them alive under stones.

After hectic efforts launched to rescue the workers, two of them – Asghar and Ashraf – were found dead, while the third was rescued alive.

The sources say that the incident occurred due to the alleged negligence of the officials concerned of the mines and mineral department and the employer.
