GUJRAT: The dead bodies of at least seven victims of a bus accident in Lasbela district of Balochistan, were transported by Edhi ambulances to Gujranwala city late on Monday night.

The funeral prayers for the deceased were offered in the native areas of the deceased persons, including Affan Town, Shadman Town, Khiyali and Kangni Wala etc.

The deceased were later buried in local graveyards on Tuesday.

In the bus accident occurring on Aug 25, seven residents of Gujranwala had died, while nine others were injured. The injured persons are yet to reach Gujranwala.

The deceased included Shafique, Tahir Hussain, Zeeshan Ali, Arman Ali, Ghulam Abbas, Abbas Ali and Mazhar Abbas.

In an earlier report, the deceased were inadvertently confused with the victims of Monday’s terrorism in Balochistan due to miscommunication between our correspondent and a senior administrative official in Gujranwala.
