SWABI: Three persons were killed in separate incidents in parts of the district here on Sunday.

Police said body of an unidentified person was lying in a filed in the jurisdiction of Kalu Khan police station.

The police shifted the dead body to tehsil headquarters hospital for post-mortem. The police officials said they had shared the pictures of the deceased on social media to get help in identification.

Meanwhile, a woman was shot dead by his cousin when he opened fire on her inside her house. Sajjad Ali of Kalkot, Upper Dir, presently residing in Khunda Shakur Banda area filed an FIR with the Chota Lahor city police station, reporting that his mother was allegedly gunned down by her cousin Sanaullah.

Moreover, Waqar Ahmed of Malikzai Yar Hussain informed the Yar Hussain police station that he was going to mosque with his 40-year-old brother Amsar Khan and two of his nephews when accused Zahidullah and his accomplices, riding motorcycles, opened fire and killed Amsar on the spot. The accused fled from the scene after committing the crime.

The cause of killing was stated to be an old enmity. The police stations concerned registered cases under relevant sections of law and started investigation.
