RAWALPINDI: A gardener at the Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi died after falling into a water tank on the university premises on Sunday night.

According to emergency service Rescue 1122, the body of the victim was recovered from the water by its staff. Shortly after the incident was reported, the police also arrived at the scene. The deceased, identified as Mohammad Rais, was a daily-wage employee of the university and reportedly had a chronic disease. However, the circumstances in which he fell into the water tank were yet to be ascertained.
