LAHORE: The Punjab government reshuffled bureaucracy, issuing transfer and posting orders for several high-ranking officials across various departments on Tuesday.

It transferred Information and Culture Secretary Ahmad Aziz Tarar and posted as secretary to Public Prosecution against a vacant post while Dr Shahinshah Faisal Azim, director general public relations (DGPR) Punjab, was assigned the additional charge of the post of secretary information and culture till further orders.

Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) Managing Director Sidrah Unis was transferred and directed to report to Services & General Administration Department (S&GAD) while Saira Omar, the officer on special duty (OSD), has replaced Ms Sidrah.

Punjab Women Protection Authority (PWPA) Director General Safina Siddique was transferred and directed to report the S&GAD while OSD Kalsoom Saqib was posted as DG PWPA, OSD Zubair Waheed was posted as member (Enquiries-II), S&GAD, against the post to be vacated by Kamran Abdullah Siddiqui upon his retirement.

Social Welfare & Baitul Maal Punjab Director General Amna Munir was transferred and directed to report to S&GAD while Chief Minister’s Office Additional Secretary Khawaja Muhammad Sikandar Zishan replaced him.

Home Department Additional Secretary Farvah Aamir was transferred and directed to report to S&GAD while OSD Imran Hussain Ranjha has replaced her, OSD Sarfraz Hussain Khan was posted as special secretary Agriculture, South Punjab, against a vacant post, Local Government & Community Development Department Director General Tariq Mahmood was transferred and posted as special secretary Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department vice Mansoor Ahmad who was transferred and posted as DG Local Government & Community Development Department.

OSD Muhammad Altaf Baloch (PMS) was posted as executive director, Punjab Government Servants Housing Foundation (PGSHF) against a vacant post on deputation while OSD Afzaal Ahmad Qamar was posted as secretary Agriculture Commission under the agriculture department against a vacant post.

S&GAD Additional Secretary (Regulations) Amanullah was transferred and posted as Special Secretary Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department South Punjab against a vacant post, relieving Mansoor Ahmad of additional charge of the post, PMRU I&C Wing of S&GAD Deputy Secretary Muhammad Shahzad was transferred and posted as additional secretary (Regulations), S&GAD.

OSD Muhammad Zeeshan Hanif was posted as the additional secretary Home Department against a vacant post. Higher Education Department (HED) Additional Secretary Shahid Saleem was transferred and posted as additional secretary (Admn) Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries Department against a vacant post, relieving Muhammad Hussain Rana, the deputy secretary of the department, of additional charge of the post.

Punjab Seed Corporation Director (Admn) Imran Akram Chauhan was transferred and posted as additional secretary HED, Bahawalpur Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance & Planning) Farooq Qamar was transferred and posted as additional secretary, Livestock & Dairy Development Department South Punjab against a vacant post, School Education Department (SED) Additional Secretary Qaiser Rasheed was transferred and directed to report to his parent department, Punjab Curriculum & Textbook Board (PCTB) Lahore Secretary Abdul Razzaq was transferred and posted as additional secretary SED.

OSD Kashif Raza Shahid Awan was posted as secretary, Punjab Curriculum & Textbook Board, OSD Muhammad Shoaib Nissoana (PMS/BPS-18) was posted as director (Revenue), Punjab Overseas Pakistanis Commission against a vacant post.

Population Welfare Department Deputy Secretary Syed Zameer Hussain was transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on a deputation basis for further adjustment.

Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department Deputy Secretary Awais Nawaz was transferred and posted as additional secretary Culture, Information & Culture Department against a vacant post, OSD Aleeza Rehan was posted as deputy secretary, PMRU, I&C Wing of S&GAD, OSD Khurram Hameed was posted as deputy secretary (Admn) Industries, Commerce Investment & Skills Development Department against a vacant post.

Bahawalpur Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Ahmer Ali was assigned the additional charge of the post of additional deputy commissioner (ADC) of Finance & Planning Bahawalpur, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

Home Department Deputy Secretary retired Lt Ahmad Zaheer was transferred and posted as ADC (Revenue), Mandi Bahauddin against a vacant post, Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Program (PICIIP) under LG&CD Department Deputy Program Director Hafiz Muhammad Umar Tayyab was transferred and posted as the additional deputy commissioner (general) Okara against a vacant post, relieving Ibrahim Arbab, ADC (Revenue) Okara of additional charge of the post.

DG Khan ADC (General) Ghulam Mustafa was transferred and posted as ADC (General) Khanewal vice Aitzaz Anjum who was transferred and he was also relieved of the additional charge of the post of CEO, Waste Management Company DG Khan and posted as ADC (General) DG Khan and he shall also hold the additional charge of the post of CEO, Waste Management Company, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

Labour & Human Resource Department Deputy Secretary Ghulam Sarwar was transferred and posted as ADC (General), Sahiwal, against a vacant post, relieving Aitzaz Aslam Marth, the ADC (Revenue) Sahiwal, of additional charge of the post.

PCTB Director (Finance) Waqar Akbar Cheema was transferred and posted as ADC (General) Mandi Bahauddin against a vacant post while transferring/posting order of Faisalabad ADC (General) Shahab Aslam as ADC (Revenue), Mandi Bahauddin was cancelled/withdrawn.
