MUZAFFARGARH: City Police registered a case against PTI MNA Jamshed Ahmad Dasti and his men for torturing a man near Zaffar Colony.

According to the first information report (FIR) complainant Zulfiqar Ali Dogar said that he was going to Zaffar Colony to meet his friend while on the way he was stopped by Dasti’s relatives at gunpoint. Later, Dasti came there with a Kalashnikov and about a dozen men, including Kashif Dasti, Zeeshan Dasti, Sajid Dasti and Samad Dasti.

They took Dogar to Dasti’s house where they tortured him and kept him hostage for an hour. They also threatened to kill him but released him after a time. He approached the City Police Station and registered a case against Dasti and his accomplices. He said that besides torturing him, the suspects snatched a wristwatch, Rs100,000 cash and a mobile phone from him.

Jamshed Dasti said the case registered against him was baseless and that he would move the court against it as no such incident occurred.
