ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Chairman Rana Mashood visited Huawei’s Islamabad office on Saturday to discuss the youth training programme.

Huawei will train 300,000 Pakistani youth in advanced Information and Communication Technology skills.

Mr Mashood met with the programme’s representatives and discussed ways to integrate Huawei’s advanced training resources into the educational framework.

The meeting followed technical discussions held on September 4 and 5.

The government’s initiative seeks to enhance technical education in Pakistan by leveraging Huawei’s global expertise and training materials.

The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission will act as the implementation partner of the programme.
