RAWALPINDI: As many as 13 new dengue patients arrived in the three government-run hospitals on Monday, taking the tally of cases to 172 in the current season.

Last year, a total of 355 patients were reported till September 9 whereas in 2022, 704 patients surfaced in the district in the same period.

A total of 61 patients were admitted to hospitals, out of which 43 were confirmed patients while 18 were waiting for reports.

As many as 31 patients are admitted to Holy Family Hospital, 20 are in Benazir Bhutto Hospital, five patients are under treatment in District Headquarters Hospital, one patient each is in Kahuta and Kallar Syedan, two are in Kotli Sattian and three patients in Taxila.

The remaining patients were being treated in private hospitals.
