PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim on Monday launched the e-filing system at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Service Tribunal.
A statement issued here said that senior puisne judge, Justice Ijaz Anwar, registrar PHC Barrister Ikhtiar Khan and other officials were present on this occasion. Justice Ibrahim commended the establishment of e-court, which would ensure improved access to justice.
KP Services Tribunal chairman Kalim Arshad Khan assured the tribunal’s commitment to leveraging technology for speedy justice. He said the e-filing system signified a major step forward in enhancing judicial efficiency, transparency and accessibility.
The PHC CJ inspected various branches at the tribunal, praising the optimal utilisation of available space.
He was also briefed about the provincial government’s allocation of adjacent land for construction of a dedicated tribunal building.
Mr Arshad thanked the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for enabling the tribunal to achieve exceptional targets.
