Fifty-year-old Zahid and his 17-year-old son Zakir were killed while their nephew Zain Ali was injured. The suspects fled.

Rescue 1122 shifted Zain to the Zafarwal Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

Local resident Hafeez said the attackers and victims were related and had a history of conflict. Three years ago, the slain party had killed three people. Despite a recent reconciliation between the two parties, tensions remained high.
