Girl found murdered

ISLAMABAD: A girl was found murdered at Margalla Hills, police said on Wednesday.

A police patrol found the girl’s body lying in a wooded area of the Margalla Hill near Pathar Mor, they said, adding that after getting the information the Kohsar police, including a police woman reached the spot and during examination found a bullet wound in her head.

Later, the body was shifted to hospital for identification, the police said, adding that the girl was yet to be identified. The girl in her 30s.

The police searched the spot from where the body was found. However, nothing was found from there which could help identify the girl, they said, adding it was yet to be cleared whether the girl was murdered in the wooded area or somewhere else and later the killer(s) brought the body there and dumped it.

A case has been registered at Kohsar police station under section 302 (murder) against unidentified person(s), the police said.
