Online bike rider flees with cash, grocery

LAHORE: The bike driver of an online company allegedly took away cash and valuables of a woman in Kot Lakhpat area on Thursday.

The woman filed the complaint with the police that she booked the ride to deliver grocery and Rs5,000 cash to her relative at the given location. A few hours later her relative told her the bike rider had not reached his house.

The complainant said when she contacted the rider, he threatened her with dire consequences and switched off the phone.

The woman lodged a complaint with the police which was trying to reach the company to know whereabouts of the rider.
