SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Three persons, including a policeman, were killed in separate incidents in Lower and Upper South Waziristan districts and FR Jandola on Thursday.

In the first incident, 10-year old Raziq Wazir died by suicide in Drabalai area of Birmal Tehsil, Lower South Waziristan. Family members said the youth was mentally disturbed which led to devastating incident.

In the second incident, a police Constable Shahid Mehsud was killed over a domestic dispute in the Ashangi area of tehsil Ladha, Upper South Waziristan district.

The alleged killer Abdulah Mehsud managed to escape after committing the crime. The police registered a case and started investigation.

The third incident occurred in Koram Babai village of FR Jandola where a 15-year-old student Rauf Bittani was shot dead by unidentified gunmen for unknown reason.

Meanwhile, sources in security forces said that in Raghzai area of Birmal tehsil, they spotted some militants and opened fire on them, but they managed to escape from the scene.
