HYDERABAD: Ismail Dahiri, a former secretary to (now head of the state) Asif Ali Zardari and former special assistant to the Sindh CM, was arrested soon after he was released from jail on Thursday after being granted bail in a narcotics case.

Dahiri was set free after Hyderabad’s ADJ-I pronounced the reserved order in the case of alleged seizure of 5kg charas from Dahiri by the A-Section police of Latifabad.

However, the police arrested him again and took him to some unknown place. His brother, Ali Raza Dahiri, was also taken into custody, according to Dahiri’s counsel Farhad Abro.
