LAHORE: A four-member men and three-member ladies team will represent Pakistan in the Asia Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC) match due to be held in Vietnam in November.

The teams were selected after the end of the three-day trials held at the Lahore Garrison Greens Golf Course on Monday.

Overall 50 top senior men’s amateurs (55 years and above) competed in the trials. It will be the first time a ladies’ team will represent the country at this level.

Men: Omer Ejaz (Margalla Greens), Rizwan Rashid (Margalla Greens), Tariq Mehmood (Lahore Garrison Greens), Asim Tiwana (Royal Palm Golf Club); Women: Tahira Nazir, Ghazala Yasmin.
