SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: A two-day workshop on e-commerce and digital marketing was held at the government degree college (GDC) Wana, Lower South Waziristan district, on Friday.

The workshop was aimed at promoting e-commerce and digital marketing and to educate the participants about the benefits of e-commerce. The event organised by the district youth office was attended by officials of the district administration, youth office, students, tribal elders and others.

Assistant commissioner Wana Faisal Ismail was the chief guest on the occasion. He highlighted the importance of digital marketing for students and youth.

The participants said that the provincial government and the district administration should organise similar workshops at private and public educational institutions to benefit the students.
