DERA GHAZI KHAN: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf MNA Zartaj Gul Wazir was arrested at her house in Dera Ghazi Khan and taken to an undisclosed location.

She was initially held at a local police station, from where she was later moved.

A picture of MNA Zartaj Gul sitting at the police station has gone viral. In the image, she is seen sitting bareheaded and barefoot on a bench, with a woman police officer seated beside her.

According to PTI lawyer Mir Fida Hussain, Zartaj Gul was arrested from her home in Rani Bazar Block 11 by policemen while she was asleep and unwell. Hussain claimed she was not allowed to wear a shawl or shoes during the arrest.

Reports said a heavy police contingent raided the office of PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan Khalol, arresting employees, friends and a nephew who were present at the time. However, the district police spokesperson has neither confirmed nor denied these arrests.
