KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan chairman and Federal Education Minister Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Sunday said that his party would make a decision regarding the proposed constitutional amendment package only after thoroughly reviewing its.

“MQM-P is free to take its own political decisions,” he said while addressing a programme here at a local hotel.

He said the MQM-P would vehemently oppose any attempt to extend the controversial quota system in the country.

He also announced the introduction of a national education policy next year, stating that the current one had become obsolete.
