RAWALPINDI: A woman was allegedly raped by two unidentified persons near Chathi graveyard in Pirwadhai, police said.

The rape victim, a resident of Pindora, lodged an FIR with Pirwadhai police saying that she had contacted her former husband on telephone and asked him for money to pay her house rent and also to travel to Multan to visit her brother.

She said after talking to her husband, she switched off her telephone and left her house with her 12-year-old son at 8:30pm to go to Multan.

She further said that she hired a Bykea for Pirwadhai, adding that when they reached near Chathi graveyard, they were intercepted by four unidentified people riding on two motorcycles.

She alleged that the motorcyclists called out her name and after identifying her, dragged her into a graveyard where two of them raped her. She further alleged that her ex-husband was behind the crime. The police registered a case after the DNA report was received.
