Iran minister visits Saudi Arabia on ‘stopping Israeli genocide’

The spokesman of the Iranian foreign ministry says Tehran’s top diplomat, Abbas Araghchi, will arrive in Saudi Arabia later today with a focus on stopping the expanding conflict, Al Jazeera reports.

The goal is to further diplomatic efforts “to stop the Israeli regime’s genocide and aggression and to alleviate the pain and suffering of our brothers and sisters in Gaza and Lebanon”, Esmail Baghaei wrote in a post on X.

“Carnage and aggression must be stopped.”
