American journalist Jeremy Loffredo, who was arrested in Israel after reporting on this month’s Iranian missile attack, was released conditionally on Friday after four days of detention, Israel’s Haaretz reports.
The Jerusalem District Court ordered his release but barred him from leaving Israel for the next nine days.
The Committee to Protect Journalists had said earlier that it was deeply alarmed by Israel’s arrest of American journalist Jeremy Loffredo over his reporting of Iranian missiles’ impact on Israel and called for his immediate release.
